My name is Patrina Nichole Joy and I am the designer and owner of Pnjoy Designs LLC. I would love to share my story with you about how I started Pnjoy Designs LLC. In 2021 during the height of the pandemic I lost my twin brother Paul at the age of 44 years young to Covid. I had the honor of designing his obituary and it was honestly a labor of love but after that I put my designing creativity on the shelf for a while. But Almost a year later to the date of my brother's passing I felt inspired to upload the obituary design that I created for my brother as a template to a designing platform called "Poster My Wall" and it was a surprising hit and I became energized with a desire to make more designs that would celebrate and honor the loss of loved ones while simultaneously being a blessing to those families because my designs were able to be downloaded for FREE. In looking back for almost a year from my twin brother's death I cried out to God asking the question why and how could anything good come out of this tragic situation. The amazing thing is how God can turn your misery into a mission and your pain into purpose. After a year on the "Poster My Wall" platform I decided to launch my design company Pnjoy Designs LLC and launch my website. God used my twin brother to be the inspiration of it all. Only God could orchestrate or use something so heartbreaking and devastating and from it create something that would not only be a blessing to me but so many others. He knew that designing my brother's obituary would lead me down a path where he could use this creative space to bring restoration, healing and provision. ONLY GOD could do that!!! It is my desire and prayer that you will stay connected with me on this new journey and may my designs bring comfort to your pain and ease some of the burden that comes with planning a loved ones funeral or memorial!!
